So we headed out to Harrison for the long weekend! Nice and relaxing - pretty quite little town in Winter!

Union MC Metafuse

Finally my new bindings arrived. Super stoked. We headed down to Bellingham to pick them up and had a really nice day in Washington. We hit up Tonys Coffee Shop in Fairhaven and a late breakfast at Skylarks restaurant. Anyways, the bindings....so stoked with them.

First Snow Whistler 2012

I was up at Whistler today for a team relay running race. It was freezing for the race, but that didn't matter 'cos it was snowing! It looked like a good 5cm had settled overnight, and it was snowing on and off all morning. Excited to say the least.

So I'm getting stoked on the impending ski season, and on my new gear. This season I have kitted myself out with a Lib Dark Series 161, and soon to arrive Union Metafuse bindings.

Joffre Lakes and Nairn Falls

A beautiful weekend camping at Nairn Falls camp site. We hiked Joffre Lakes for the second time. It is always a stunning hike.

Terry Fox 32nd Annual Run

I just won my first running race. The Stanley Park 10km leg of the Terry Fox run. I was stoked to say the least, with a pb and race win, 35 min 43 secs.

Cypress Mountain

From earlier in the season, I didn't realise that I had forgotten to publish this. Epic pow day at Cypress Mountain. So many cool little hits in the glades.

BMO Marathon

I just completed my first Marathon. I got a time of 3hrs06mins47secs. Needless to say I was pretty stoked.
This was my proposed pace before the race. I ended up smashing my proposed race schedule.

We went to Squamish on the weekend and hiked the Chief. Spectacualr views from the top, as well as some local wild life. This inquisitive chipmunk allowed me to get pretty close with the camera.

Battleship

I finally got to see Battleship yesterday. All I can say is Image Engine killed it. The sequence looked so Bad Ass! It was a great project to work on with a super cool team.

So my IPA is now bottled and ready to drink. I am really happy with the flavour, color and clarity of the beer. One of my best so far.

dry hopped in secondary:
1oz Cascade Pellets
1oz Centennial

1968 English Ale WYeast

OG - 1.041

After 4 weeks fermenting: 2 in the primary, and two in the secondary.

                          
Early in the process: Here I am checking the temp now that I have brought the fermenter up to 23 liters. Just getting ready to pitch the yeast.
